The Heinz/French’s Mustard Battle

The recent TV spots introducing Heinz mustard, shows folks all dressed in plastic bottles – a male ketchup bottle and a second female mustard bottle banter back and forth with the Heinz plastic bottles. Arms hang out of the bottles and the faces appear below the bottle caps. The female mustard  (although not marked) is obviously a French’s squeeze mustard bottle.

The Heinz ketchup bottle informs the French lady mustard bottle of Heinz’s new entry into the mustard business, and with that, the mustard’s ketchup companion pokes the ribs of the French’s mustard bottle and mustard squirts out the top.

Only problem is the top of the mustard bottle is still sealed with it’s plastic cap.

Guess nobody but me notices these things.

All that money spent on human-sized plastic ketchup and mustard bottles and nobody thinks to open the top to squirt the mustard.
